Jamaican Me Crazy!

Braydon and Belinda bring to the table two haunted manors and discover a few uncanny similarities between the stories, both had murderous wives at the core of the tale, and both tortured and murdered slaves that they owned.

Braydon discusses Rose Hall in Jamaica, and the White Witch that currently haunts the premises. The White Witch became the owner of Ross Hall after her husband (then owner) was found dead under mysterious circumstances. She used her knowledge of the Occult and Voodoo magic to perform torturous rituals on the slave lovers she took on the plantation.

Belinda goes on to discuss the LaLaurie Mansion in New Orleans, US. The place was lived in by the murderous lady with 1000 names, Marie Delphine LaLaurie Macarty, or Madame Blanque. The socialite was a slave owner and serial killer, who slaughtered dozens of slaves, often performing "medical-like" procedures on them in experimentation. The mansion is now one of the most haunted spots in New Orleans, and favourite for local ghost hunters.

Carnal Knowledge

Braydon and Belinda talk about two different paranormal stories in today's episode. Braydon discusses the legend of Banchō Sarayashiki in Japan, which is the original inspiration for the world famous movie, The Ring. The legend originates from Himeji Castle in Himeji, Japan, and is incredibly well known through the countless adaptations, plays, and artwork that feature the fable.

Braydon also goes on to talk about the Shirime spirit, which has a dirty little secret, and a supposedly haunted location within Japan that he has already visited!
