Story Chunder
A Story-Telling Event PODCAST
This is The Story Chunder Podcast!
Every week a new lot of cunning linguists will spew forth their most entertaining stories for your delight or disapproval.
Where audiences show appreciation for storytellers by dropping a coin in the Chunder Bucket.
Join host Matt Young (occasional co-host of “Oh, Hey Guys! with John Flynn” at LA’s Upright Citizen’s Brigade) and a range of co-hosts and storytellers, tell or listen to a story, and try not to “laugh til you chunder”.
EVERY MONDAY NIGHT at Back Dock Arts, 103 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, QLD.
In this episode we went back into the archives to post some showbiz stories from some of Brisbane's bright theatrical and artistic lights. We start in early April, with Chloe Thiel coming out of quarantine after having to leave London quickly due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We then meet up with Gen Tree, who tells about a high school musical theatre competition and that awkward experience of taking the wrong exit, and being stuck in place. Next Joel O'Brien tells about having star billing, and losing his voice. And finally Carly Bettinson tells of her last audition before COVID lockdowns, and a very long car trip with her Mum.
