Hello, we are back with the podcast goods. Zane has a listener submission this week with the audio memoir Days of My Life, Liz brings her first celebrity host chat show recommendation with Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard and Pat takes a deep dive on the porn industry with Jon Ronson's The Butterfly Effect/The Last Days of August. Then it's reviews time!
Liz Recommends - Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard
https://armchairexpertpod.com/
"Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment.
What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert."
I love this podcast because I find Dax a really emotionally honest host. He sits down with Hollywood pals for discussions on pretty much anything.
For both: I really like the Kristen Bell eps because I love their relationship, and I love the Jason Batemen ep too.

Pat Recommends - The Butterfly Effect / The Last Days of August
http://www.jonronson.com/butterfly.html
Many of you may know Jon Ronson as the public shaming guy, or the guy who busted into Bohemian Grove with Alex Jones in the 90's to witness the masters of the universe conducting a mock sacrifice to the Canaanite god Moloch. Perhaps you know him from another wonderful part of his journalistic career. This time around he's taking a dive into the world of pornography. The Butterfly Effect focuses more on what PornHub has done to the industry and how it's professionals have responded. The Last Days of August looks takes a closer look at the tragic suicide of young starlet August Ames. These two pieces were originally Audible exclusives, but have thankfully since made their way to podcatchers under the title The Last Days of August.
For Zane & Liz: Listen to as much as you wish, if you're like me yoLyou'llwant to binge.

Zane Recommends - Days of My Life
https://www.buzzsprout.com/252630
This listener is a listener-submission, a truly unique podcast, and the first of its kind that Zane has encountered. Days of My Life is an Autobiographical Audio Drama Podcast created by Aidan Rosewell.
Rosewell puts his heart on his sleeve as he recounts events of his life growing up in the 90’s and struggling to cope with drug addiction and being a teenage carer for his mother. There are a few historical events also wrapped into the narrative.
This one is incredibly personal and interesting. It is best to start from the beginning, as it is in essence a serial narrative.
For Pat: From the Beginning
